Opportunities exist for skilled and experienced Dump Truck mining operators for a short term contract in the Middlemount area. An absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential. It is imperative that you possess the ability and aptitude to maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance with mine working procedures. The successful candidates must have the following in order to be considered for these positions: Civil, coal or hard rock experience on min Cat 777 rear dump truck; A willingness to work rotating rosters; Ability to contribute and work positively in a team environment; Coal board medical; Coal Surface Generics; Provide a clear drug and alcohol test. Camp accommodation will be provided while working on site. Please note that we are not employing trainees or clean skins at this time, only experienced people need apply.

Plumber required for a crew involved with setting up temporary water supplies to houses in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne prior to the installation and replacement of mains water lines. Plumbing back ground would be ideal. Tasks will include exposing and terminating existing water supply services, connecting households to temporary water supply, liaising with households on customer service level and reinstating new mains water supplies. PPE will include steel cap boots and high visibility vest and all works will be carried out complying fully with company OH&S policies and procedures.

Civil labourer required to assist in the repairs and making good of under ground services in Melbourne metropolitan. Skills required include string lines, levels, shovel work, concrete and asphalt experience, operating equipment such as whackers, concrete saws and jack hammers. Employees will be expected to comply fully with all OH&S policies and procedures without exception and wear correct PPE at all times including lace up steel cap boots, high visibility vest, long pants and long sleeves, eye protection and ear protection. Extra care must be taken when working around machinery. A Construction Industry OH&S card is mandatory. A confined space ticket would be an advantage.
