Our client is a leading 3PL provider and services a range of blue-chip and medium sized manufacturers and distributors of FMCG products. The State Operations Manager is a key leaderhip role responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of warehousing and transport operations from client to customer and this role represents a genuine career opportunity for a high performer.

Reporting to the National Operations Manager you will be responsible for overseeing two large Distribution Centre facilities and all associated distribution in a high volume, fast paced logistics environment. Responsible for several hundred staff and a highly capable management team, your mandate will include: achieving continuous improvement of warehousing operations against metrics; ensuring optimal harmonisation with a unionised workforce; driving cultural and morale improvement; building a culture of zero harm and safety first and achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction through achieving demanding DIFOT targets.

We are seeking applications from energetic, driven logistics professionals with experience in either 3PL, FMCG or Retail environments or similar, either locally or internationally. A passionate leader of people you will have an appetite for continuous improvement in operations environments with exposure to both automated and manual warehousing facilities. You will also have a deep appreciation for the demands of Australia's modern retail environment with experience liaising with senior external stakeholders.
