Our client is currently looking for an Experienced Import Sea-freight Operator to join their team as soon as possible. If successful, your daily duties will include.
* Registering inward sea freight documents / consoles
* Sea cargo automation
* Shipment management, liaising with lines, forwarders and clients on a daily basis in relation to shipment details
*Liaising internally with customs transport / warehouse ensuring customs requirements are met
* Purchase order management, processing orders with overseas agents and arranging shipments
* Creating invoices and taking payments from clients

Ideally they are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual to join their already successful Import Ocean Freight team. You must have excellent communication & customer service skills and an ability to identify and rectify problems, to ensure the best level of service possible for your clients. Ideally you will have at least two years relevant industry experience in a similar role and have a high level of commitment to building a career within the Forwarding Industry.
