Based in our Port Melbourne office, you will be working as part of a national team to undertake site repair and maintenance of a range of Access Control Equipment for Victorian clients. You will evaluate and recommend suitable upgrades of hardware and software and communicate to clients on site in relation to work undertaken.
Your background will demonstrate:
- Sound experience in access control systems and hardware fault finding, repairs and maintenance;
- Knowledge of PC hardware, Windows 2000 server software, access control equipment;
- Understanding of Cat 5 network cabling;
- Sound understanding of network design installation;
- Strong customer service focus;
- Diploma of Information Technology or computing related certification or equivalent experience.
Drawing on your 'can do' nature, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will have the ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with your clients and management to enhance the presence and contribution of the Victorian Technology team. Possessing the ability to take an autonomous and systematic approach towards your work load will be a distinct advantage in this role.
Prior experience in maintenance and repair of gaming, cash or vending machines would be highly regarded.
