Our Central Coast based client is a well established business with a local manufacturing operation that continues to be successful through the development of its product range and expansion into new markets. The company employees over 75 staff with a nationally recognised brand.

Reporting to the Business/Technical Manager the Service Technician is a newly created role responsible for the installation, assembly and commissioning of electronic logistical systems (RFID, scales, telematics) for facilities and vehicles.

This role incorporates the servicing and maintenance of the above mentioned systems across Australia and New Zealand.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Commissioning, installation, servicing, repairs and maintenance of electronic logistical systems.
• Delivery of excellent customer service 
• Supporting the Business Manager with sales projects/new contracts
• Make product recommendations
• Coordination of inventory
• Maintenance, trouble shooting and project based support to the production facilities (as required)

Education and Experience:

• Trade Qualified:  Electronics Technician or Industrial Electrician
• Vehicle/Automotive Electrician experience is advantageous

Skills:

• 3 plus years relevant experience in an industrial environment
• Ability to travel within Australian and New Zealand
• Exposure to database and/or integration software, PLC and communications equipment.
• Current Drivers licence
