COMPANY

This rapidly growing farm and agriculture company are on the lookout for an Experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their Wagga branch as a service technician. You will be responsible for servicing and testing tractors, machinery and outdoor power equipment within the Riverina region. (primarily workshop based but field service work may be required)

CANDIDATE

The successful candidates will have one or more of the following attributes:

• Automotive or Plant mechanical repair trade certificate
• Forklift licence preferred
• 5 years mechanical (or similiar exp) work experience
• NSW drivers licence
• Solid understanding of agricultural machinery
• New Holland Machinery Experience will be highly regarded

POSITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be Responsible for the following tasks:

• Test operate tractors, machinery and outdoor power equipment to ensure the most up to date and effective diagnostic procedures are utilised at all times.
• Field Service Work
• Perform pre-delivery inspections to machinery equipment
• Carry out and perform servicing and major repairs to machinery
• Carry out and perform light fabrication/welding duties of machinery
• Ensure correct selection of machinery or component to repair as listed on the repair order and to ensure safety guarding (PTO shafts, etc) on all machines
  
  In order to be successful you will be self motivated and comfortable with working autonomously as well as in a team.
