Our national client are known as the market leaders in providing specialist educational furniture and associated products. They have been in Melbourne for a number of decades and have a strong reputation and large client base. They sell a range of products direct to end users in the education market and they also service the architectural market in terms of new buildings and refurbishments projects. This relationship driven sales role will require you to service a large batch of existing customers in a regional territory which will include Mildura, Bendigo, Swan Hill and Ballarat areas. Your client base will include schools, colleges, TAFE's and universities and the role will also entail a portion of new business development in addition to account management. You will form part of an energetic, driven sales team and will be supported by the national sales manager. The role will see you predominately on the road, face to face with your clients developing relationships and selling product. You will be required to manage your client base and the territory and will also need to solve problems as and when they arise. To be considered for the role you will need the following skills and attributes; - Experience of selling products into the Education or Government sector.
- Ideally commercial furniture sales experience or knowledge.
- The ability to work in country Victoria and manage your daily activity and call cycle.
- A strong sales background with experience in account management and business development.
- Solid relationship building skills in addition to strong communication and personal presentation.
- An energetic, friendly, team orientated personality will see you fit into the team well.
- Self motivated outlook to your sales career.
We are offering a base salary around the $55-65k mark plus fully maintained vehicle, tools of trade and also an uncapped earning potential. You will be joining a stable workforce and a friendly team environment. This role is available immediately.
