In this highly challenging and exciting role you will work closely with the Managing Director and product development team and have significant input into new product ranges from conception stage to final product and packaging layout for the Australian and International market. Your key responsibilities include: - Managing the art room traffic flow and working closely with the sales team and production team to develop a range of products
- Managing and executing presentations for buyers and sales teams
- Scheduling and approving samples & artwork autonomously
- Training and development of junior team members
If you are an experienced product developer with previous experience in gift and homeware product development and have the ability to tap into our on trend, and edgy Universal market you will be translating key social and fashion trends into homewares and gifting as well as stationery product. To be considered for this fantastic opportunity you will possess the following key attributes: - Previous Homewares product design and development experience
- Experience in packaging design, catalogue design and layout
- Have loads of energy, creativity and can demonstrate initiative
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Graphic Design qualifications utilizing both PC and Mac platforms including experience working in 3D
