This established main contractor is looking to appoint a Client Liaison / Business Development Advisor to develop and promote the business and also to identify and develop business opportunities with direction from the Executive General Manager.  

This exciting position will see the successful candidate undertake research projects within the Construction market, often collating information to be used by the executive team for strategy meetings.  You will spend your time undertaking market segmentation and information gathering often involving figures regards market trends and opportunities.
 
Alongside this, you will create and maintain business development databases and may often be the person to contact prospective clients regarding this main contractor's capabilities.  You can expect to develop and implement and report on the business marketing strategy and opportunities for the Eastern operation, ensuring that strategic objectives are understood and executed.
 
It is essential that candidates have experience within business development and market research and should be a self starter and confident in your technical knowledge regarding the construction and mining industry as you will be speaking to Senior level professionals.  You should be able to establish new relationships and develop and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
 
To apply for this position you need to demonstrate:
 
3 - 5 years undertaking market research /business development
A good understanding of the Civil Construction and mining industry
3 years experience working within the construction sector
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Experience of market research and presentation of findings
