The successful candidate shall be responsible for:-

• Maintain the company's Quality System to AS/NZS ISO 9001 and the stated quality policy.
• Report on the status of the QS and product covered by certification on a monthly basis for the purpose of management review meetings.
• Plan, schedule and conduct internal quality audits against AS/NZS ISO 9001 & MP 87.1. Report on findings and facilitate action as required.
• Be responsible for and initiate corrective action, when required.
• Ensure that controls for non-conformance are implemented.
• Responsible for and authorised to accept or reject the material.
• Quarantine stock when adverse feedback is received for investigation purposes.
• Liaise with vendors for replacement or credit of reject material and veto suppliers of significant components for product certified, when evidence of non-compliance exists.
• Ensure customer complaints are documented, investigated by the appropriate personnel and follow up occurs.
• Liaise with all departments, certification bodies and customers for design changes to products covered by certification and major changes, when deemed necessary, to the quality management system.
• Control and maintenance of quality documents and records.
• Develop employee quality training programs when requested by management.

To be successful you shall:-

• Possess superior communication skills
• Will have high attention to detail and shall be analytical in your approach
• Will have previous experience within QA functions
