We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support Customers, Retailers, Service/Spare Parts and internal staff in the Compliance Department. As a Technical Officer for Brown Goods, you will be responsible for: - Providing technical support to customer service staff and ASC's
- Assist with the development and regular provision of technical training
- Carry out quality checks on new and existing products as requested
- Support end users with product issues
- Maintain effective FAQ database for customers
- Act as a technical expert in the complaint escalation process to resolve customer issues
To be successful in this position, you will have: - Trade qualifications and experience in providing technical support on brown goods
- Ability to train both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to read and write technical reports
- Proven ability to troubleshoot (fault finding) problems with brown goods
- Previous experience in providing home servicing for difficult and unusual faults that can't be remotely diagnosed
- Superior customer service skills in an operational environment
- Ability to travel interstate and overseas as required
- A polished telephone manner and listening skills
- To be able to build strong rapport with your customers
- To be self motivated & adaptable in changing situations
- To be computer literate, and have experience in maintaining database records
- Problem solving ability and great time management skills
