Due to recent internal opportunities, this leading national Law Firm is searching for a Principal Claims Manager to be based on Toowoomba who can lead their Settlements Services Team. This is a fantastic opportiunity to join a firm that thinks differently and looks after it's people.
The Role:
- Manage, coach and mentor Post Settlement Operators
- Manage workflow of all principal claim files in Queensland
- Obtain signed discharges, Medicare notices of settlement and trust account authorities
- Prepare files for cost assessment and recovery of standard costs
- Ensure client billing and reconciliations are processed in a timely manner
- Reviewing, re-engineering and implementing new and existing post settlement processes
- Liaise with clients, defendant solicitors, insurance companies and government departments
- Preparation of applicable reports and other file work as requires
