This 12 month contract opportunity is available for an experienced Project Manager - Mainframe Consolidation.
 
The role is a critical role requiring the delivery of several infrastructure "build and deploy" transformation projects for a major financial services client.
 
The role requires excellent project management skills, especially in communications and the ability to work with our clients.  
You will have demonstrated the required proficiency levels for skills defined at this position with knowledge in business matters, finance, planning, forecasting and personnel in order to manage team staff and business issues.  You will engage as a professional to work with team members to articulate, compare, and implement solutions and alternative approaches based upon project management principles. You will also accommodate team members which might include customer, supplier and staff.
 
You will also recognise and articulate problems related to the project/segment of the project, and apply creativity and judgment in development of solutions or deliverable objectives. As appropriate, challenge the validity of given procedures and processes with a view toward enhancement or improvement.
