Worldwide leader in technology seeks an experienced
Network Security Architect to join there growing team. Initially a 12+ month contract to join this global team based in North West Sydney with view to extend.
You will be responsible for the infrastructure architecture design, evaluate project requirements and develop architecture solutions according to this empires customer's IT Network and Security Policy and Standards, responsible for the project's end-to-end network security compliance while working with multiple engineering teams, develop/own the Network Security Detailed Design for the project, and provide architecture leadership/guidance to the project implementation team throughout the project life cycle.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
- A minimum of 5 years experience as an IT Architect role,
- Understanding of Security principles associated with networks, internet, email, operating systems, firewalls, VPNs, databases, virus management, intrusion detection, cryptography and e-commerce, with a deeper specialisation in at least two of these fields.
- Strong knowledge and commercial experience with Checkpoint Firewalls, Netscreen VPNc and Cisco PIX
- Strong knowledge of F5,Webseal, Web Proxy, ASA Datapower.
- Experienced in implementation and management of network/security tools and processes.
- Experience in managing network/security solutions within a large, enterprise environment
- Ability to maintain consultative/participative processes with key clients, stakeholders and service provider.
- Good project, analysis, problem solving, and business relationship skills.
- A good understanding of current legislation and precedence governing security.
- Good understanding and comprehension of contemporary and emerging security technologies and strategies and their application to enterprise.
