A commercially driven and strategically focussed Manager of Professional Education Services is required for a peak body based in Sydney. This post requires a collaborative leader who can continue to successfully build professional relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally, analyse and identify gaps in the organisation’s market offering and provide day to day direction and leadership to the team to ensure that the planning, delivery and evaluation of all aspects of the professional development courses are in line with both the college’s strategic and overall business plan. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all 57 CPD courses offered by this peak body are administered and marketed correctly, as well as deciding whether it is commercially viable to run the course or whether a different strategy needs to be taken. Analyse client driven requirements and/or changing of marketing strategy to assess interest in alternative regions where demand for the course may be higher. Motivation and management of the team to market the course to the organisation’s industry contacts, who are usually DON’s and NUM’s, is another critical aspect to the post. This diverse and varied position will involve some interstate travel, approximately once a quarter where you will have the opportunity to establish and maintain the network of contacts. Reporting to the Director of Professional Education Services, ideally you will have a Masters in Adult Education or Nursing coupled with some experience of: management; sales and marketing.
